I’ve been following @thecityhorse for some time now, and her story resonated alot in me. The loss of her horse, Airy, reminded me alot of when i lost my boy, Dollar, back in 2006. i’ve wanted to paint something for her for a while (painting things for people gives me some kind of weird closure i dont know haha), and when i beautiful photo by @averic_123photography popped up i just had to paint it.

This is (my attempt at) Darwin, he’s a babe. i’m sorry i drew him a little block-headed and out of proportion hah but i hope you enjoy, Jess! much love x
